• Ensuring LGV vehicle is kept in roadworthy condition
• Ensuring compliance with companies’ O license responsibilities
• Completing daily walk round checks
• Projecting a professional image and ensuring site rules are always complied with.
• Defect reporting
• A flexible and positive attitude to working times in line with business requirements is essential.
• Assisting with the day-to-day running of the Readymix plant.
• Housekeeping, filling bins, and other operational tasks during quieter periods.

Skills Required:

• LGV class 2 licence is essential
• Flexibility and initiative are essential
• Tachograph and WTD knowledge
• Experience of Ready Mix concrete deliveries
• Truck mixer experience
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Previous experience in concrete/mortar production would be beneficial.
• An NVQ/Mentor mobile plant qualification would be an advantage
