We are looking for Multi Skilled Operatives to join our quarry teams across the UK (specifically Dove Holes Quarry, Buxton; North Wales; East & West Midlands and Southern England)

Reporting directly to the Quarry Manager/Assistant Quarry Manager, the successful candidate will make sure that the daily operation of the quarry is being run to the highest standards of safety and have a “hands on” role to ensure the timeliest and cost-effective production of all materials produced on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to and actively promote CEMEX’s H&S Standards
• Review equipment and production conditions at all times.
• Ensure all activities under your control are conducted & comply with current legislation and company policies.
• Ensure that plant availability is maximised
• Ensure a quality operation and materials that meet customers’ demands.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained within the department.

Skills Required:

To be successful in this role the ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of quarry extraction and processing. They will also have experience of working within a similar role/industry. They will also:

• Ideally have a good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures associated with quarrying/site operations
• As a minimum, have training and qualifications for operating Mobile Plant.
• Be an effective team player that can motivate and inspire other individuals to engage and comply with business policies, targets, goals and standards
