Warehouse Supervisor
Warehouse Supervisor
  • Ensure compliance with all Global Procurement and Controllership policies relating to Inventory and Stores management.
  • Support the Cement Maintenance team to ensure continuity of operations with on time sourcing of Goods (spares) and Services and to maintain the optimal level of cement spares considering inventory levels, working capital impact and operational requirements.
  • Track and report the performance of the stores on a monthly basis recording delivered savings / benefits, working capital improvements tracked against agreed KPI's and objectives both local and global.
  • Responsible for cement spares, inventory management and control. 
  • Responsible to adhere to MRP and all associated SAP Agreements.
  • Responsible to run MRP of critical items and high turnover and creates the Purchase Orders and ensure to send it to the suppliers.
  • Responsible to make the chasing of all PO raised by the stores.
  • Ensure automatic stock replenishment is fully operated.
  • Coordinates reception and dispatch of goods from the storeroom as well as outsourcing activities to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Coordinates cycle counting and activities related to stock management to get the accuracy of inventory records and to not only measure the level of conformance to expectation, but also to provide for cause and corrective action when conformance is not achieved.
  • Assures compliance to the procurement policies to avoid in-excess inventory and obsolete materials.
     

Skills Required:

  • Stores Management and Maintenance experience (desirable).
  • Materials Management Knowledge and  SAP.
  • Strong inter-personal skills with proven track record.
  • Inventory Control.
  • Experience of managing a team.
  • Operational experience to fully understand what our business objectives are within our markets and how they are achieved and operate.
