Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for promoting sales of asphalt to a range of customers within this very demanding market. Key tasks include:
- Develop long term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service.
- Identify the customer’s needs and provide solutions.
- Protect and retain existing customer base, while proactively developing new sales
- Work toward agreed performance targets for volume, margin, and profitability.
Site Location: Doris Rd Asphalt Plant – Birmingham
Skills Required:
- Strong commercial awareness combined with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
- Highly self motivated, well organised and have a strong determination to succeed.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and have the ability to work as an effective member of the Asphalt team.
- Knowledge of SAP/ CRM desirable
- Knowledge of regional Asphalt capabilities and regional Asphalt customer base desirable
- Previous sales experience desirable
- A strong work ethic and a team player mentality.
