Sales Executive - North West
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Development Manager, you will be required to undertake the following duties:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our existing customer base in order to maximize sales opportunities.
- Acquire new customers through coordinated business development activities, develop relationships and actively promote our products and services.
- Establish co-operative working relationships with other Cemex employees, sharing knowledge, experience and expertise, to facilitate improved service and organizational performance.
- Achieve individual productivity and sales targets.
- Use a customer service approach when dealing with internal and external customers, resulting in high customer satisfaction evaluations.
- Monitor and control personal work activities, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
- Responsible for maintaining knowledge on company processes, procedures and databases and any supporting information.
- Continually monitoring and reporting on competitor activity within the area.
Skills Required:
Experience & Qualifications
- At least two years sales experience; either office or external.
- Previous Readymix experience desirable.
- Highly self-motivated, with commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Ability to understand, work towards and achieve targets.
- Good IT Skill including; e-mail (Lotus Notes), Windows, CRM and SAP.
- A working knowledge of the North West geography.
- A Valid Full Car Driving License
