Main duties & responsibilities:

Reporting to the Quarry Manager you will be required to undertake the following duties:

• Operation of weighbridge for Landfill site.
• Providing safety inductions and guidance to HGV drivers.
• Responsible for the safe, efficient, and legal/policy compliant running of weighbridge and associated administration systems.
• Comply with all company and site statutory Health, Safety and Environmental policies
• Routine housekeeping and maintenance.
• Comply with all company and site quality requirements including vehicle inspections.
• To ensure clear lines of communication with customers and between departments.
• Ensure customer’s needs are met promptly and safely.

Skills Required:

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• WAMITAB Inert Landfill Level 3 Qualification
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Basic understanding of weighbridge system, but full training will be given.
• Knowledge or experience in waste acceptance.
• Working on your own and part of a team.
• Able to build up relationships and have good communication.
• Must be flexible to allow varied work patterns to meet the needs of the business from time to time.
