Main Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Commercial Development Manager, you will be required to undertake the following duties:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with our existing customer base in order to maximize sales opportunities.
• Acquire new customers through coordinated business development activities, develop relationships and actively promote our products and services.
• Establish co-operative working relationships with other Cemex employees, sharing knowledge, experience and expertise, to facilitate improved service and organizational performance.
• Achieve individual productivity and sales targets.
• Use a customer service approach when dealing with internal and external customers, resulting in high customer satisfaction evaluations.
• Monitor and control personal work activities, ensuring agreed deadlines are met.
• Responsible for maintaining knowledge on company processes, procedures and databases and any supporting information.
• Continually monitoring and reporting on competitor activity within the area.
   

Skills Required:

Experience & Qualifications
 

• At least two years sales experience; either office or external.
• Previous Readymix experience desirable.
• Highly self-motivated, with commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to understand, work towards and achieve targets.
• Good IT Skill including; e-mail (Lotus Notes), Windows, CRM and SAP.
• A working knowledge of the North West geography.
• A Valid Full Car Driving License
