Concreting The Fun For Half Term

Andlyn White, CSR Specialist, and Sean O’Donnell, Special Products Technical Manager, made concrete fun at two STEM workshops held at the Macready Theatre in Rugby recently.
Over 20 children (and even a CEMEX parent…) attended the sessions, where they found out lots about products including Aggregates, Concrete, Cement and Asphalt and the trucks we use to transport them across the country.
The children were able to help Sean as he made concrete on stage, and also colour in their own CEMEX truck.
Andlyn commented: “These sessions were a fun and simple way to introduce local children to the many products CEMEX makes – I think we may have spotted a couple of future recruits!”
