During the hot summer weather, remember to drink cold drinks regularly, such as water and diluted fruit juice.

Avoid excess alcohol, caffeine (tea, coffee and cola) or drinks high in sugar - NHS Choices advises us to try to drink about six to eight glasses of water or other fluids a day to prevent dehydration.
