Rugby Cement Plant has successfully completed its ISO50001:2011 certification audit with SGS.
Rugby Cement Plant has successfully completed its ISO50001:2011 certification audit with SGS.
During the three day audit many areas/teams were visited and the Auditor has recommended that our Energy Management System (EnMS) is certified to ISO50001:2011 standard.
He also made the following positive number of comments regarding the site and personnel -
- “Energy management is clearly embedded in the overall culture of the plant.”
- “The Team have excellent skills, knowledge and awareness of energy management.”
- “The site can demonstrate year on year reductions in energy consumption and have a number of on-going initiatives in place to further improve energy performance.”
This was a real Team effort from both site and central functions so thanks to everyone involved for their efforts in ensuring this excellent result.
