- Speedy Application - Up to 2000m² can be installed by 3 to 4 operatives in 1 day. A typical day would see 500 to 750m² laid compared to a maximum 200m² of traditional screed.
- Rapid Early Strength - Rapid early strength gain allows early trafficking, typically within 24 to 48 hours, compared to 3 to 7 days for cement / sand screed.
- High Dimensional Stability - A high degree of dimensional stability means that cracking within the screed is vastly reduced and curling almost totally eliminated. These are two issues commonly seen on traditional site mixed screeds.
- Thermally Efficient - Improved thermal efficiency when used with underfloor heating compared to traditional screed. This is because of the flowing nature of Supaflo which fully encapsulates the heating pipes.
Supaflo Self Levelling Screed
The ultimate liquid screed solution
Flowing Screed
SUPAFLO® is the ultimate liquid screed solution and is at the forefront of screed technology
Supaflo® has been developed over many years and is at the forefront of screed technology. It provides significant benefits over traditional screed to the extent that in some European countries over 50% of all screeds used are of this type.
The advantages over traditional floor screed include speed of application, excellence of surface finish, attainable accuracy of placement and finishing, reduction in thickness.

Supaflo More Benefits
- Delivered Ready Mixed - Delivered to the job site in mixer trucks in a ‘ready to use’ condition, thus eliminating the time and space required for site mixing and concerns relating to manual handling for site operatives.
- Improved Flexural Strength - Reduced section thickness due to improved flexural strength, 75mm of traditional screed is frequently replaced with 40mm of Supaflo, which improves drying times, thermal insulation values and cost.
- No Need For Stress Relief - Large areas can be laid without the need for stress relief / movement joint - 1600 m². Cement / sand screed is usually partitioned in to 30 to 40m² bays.
- Quality Assurance - Supaflo is only supplied to trained and approved registered contractors.

Supaflo Product Range
A flowing screed flooring solution based on a calcium sulfate binder.
Supaflo® is the original flowing, self smoothing Calcium Sulfate based self levelling screed. It has been widely available through our network of manufacturing units for approaching two decades.
Calcium Sulfate based flowing screed can provide significant benefits over traditional ‘semi dry’ site mixed screeds for the following reasons:- scale of application, ease of placement, excellence of surface finish, attainable accuracy of level and the virtual elimination of cracking and curling.
CEMEX Supaflo® Rapide is a pumpable self-smoothing, levelling screed based on an enhanced Calcium Sulfate binder.
The binder used in Supaflo® Rapide has been developed over several years by LKAB Minerals and incorporates the latest admixture technology to produce a product with significant drying time benefits when compared to standard Calcium Sulfate and Cement based flowing screeds.
A strong, durable levelling screed for high rise applications
Supaflo® SUMMIT is a self compacting flowing screed specifically formulated to provide a strong and durable levelling screed for high rise applications for example where there is a requirement to pump the screed above 10 floors.
A screed with high thermal conductivity for use with underfloor heating systems
Supaflo® HTC screed with high thermal conductivity for use with underfloor heating systemsSupaflo® HTC is a self compacting flowing screed specifically intended for use with underfloor heating systems and is formulated to provide a floor with higher thermal conductivity when compared to traditional cement, sand screed and regular flowing screed.
A high quality ultra thin screed for bonded and unbonded applications
Supaflo® TS-20 ultra thin screed for bonded and unbonded applicationsSupaflo® TS-20 is a thin section screed formulated to provide a strong and durable, ultra-thin topping to solid internal substrates such as, in-situ concrete slabs, beam and block sub floors and precast concrete planks. Supaflo TS-20 can be installed to a minimum thickness of 20mm which improves drying times compared to traditional screeds and enables the finished flooring to be installed sooner.
A high quality ultra thin screed for bonded and unbonded applications
Supaflo® TS-15 ultra thin screed for bonded and unbonded applicationsSupaflo® TS-15 is a thin section screed formulated to provide a strong and durable, ultra-thin topping to solid internal substrates such as, in situ concrete slabs, beam and block sub floors and precast concrete planks. Supaflo TS-15 can be installed to a minimum thickness of 15mm which improves drying times compared to traditional screeds and enables the finished flooring to be installed sooner.
A self compacting flowing screed for acoustic and non-acoustic flooring systems
Supaflo® TIMBRE self compacting flowing screed for acoustic and non-acoustic flooring systemsSupaflo® TimBRE is manufactured in a quality assured process using specialist binder and selected aggregate. It is specifically intended for use in acoustic and non acoustic flooring systems which use timber joists as their primary supporting structure. Supaflo® TimBRE can be used with either warm water or electric underfloor heating systems in both commercial and residential developments.

Supaflo Summit, Stratosphere London
Case Study
Supaflo Summit - Flowing Screed for High Rise Buildings
Stratosphere is a £17.5 million mixed use sky scraper development by Telford Homes, creating over 300 new residences in London, close to Stratford Westfield and the Olympic Park.
During construction one of the requirements set by the client was that the floor screed had to be pumped in a single lift - with the highest pour taking place 120 meters up on the 36th floor.
When approached by the flooring contractor TCS screeding for a solution, CEMEX recommended Supaflo Summit, an anhydrite based flowing screed specifically designed for highrise developments, and can be pumped above 10 storeys without the risk of the material segregating.
Supaflo Summit is also ideal for use with both electric or water based underfloor heating systems.
TCS screeding chose Supaflo Summit as the solution along with using their new, environmentally friendly, electric pump to achieve the pumping heights required.
CEMEX supplied around 750m3 of Supaflo - which was manufactured at 3 different production units, yet delivered an ultra consistent product throughout the project.
Supaflo Flowing Screed Used In New Teaching Block
Case Study
West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is part of a £23.8 million building project led by Willmott Dixon, and is soon to become a three-storey, state-of-the-art teaching block and learning centre.
The team encountered a problem due to structural weight issues and the concrete slab was placed 25mm lower than required.
Midland Floor Screeding were tasked in resolving this problem. They consulted with CEMEX and recommended Supaflo TS-15 as a cost-effective and time saving solution.
Supaflo TS-15 is an eco-friendly and ultra-thin screed, designed for bonded and unbonded applications. It’s delivered to site in a ready mixed format and can be placed at up to 10 times faster than traditional concrete screed!
CEMEX supplied 80m3 of Supaflo TS-15, which is being installed using a Turbosol Pro H CL pump to the first and second floor - laid both floating and unbonded to 500g of polythene.
