CEMEX proudly supporting launch of International Bomber Command Centre at Swinderby

CEMEX is proud to support the launch of the International Bomber Command Centre next Thursday when the land around our Swinderby quarry operations near Lincoln is going to become a park and ride for this event.
The memorial at the centre is going to be the tallest memorial in the UK and commemorates 57,871 men and women involved in Bomber Command who died in WWII, from 62 nations.
On 12th April 4000 guests will be attending the formal opening ceremony, hence the need for parking space! As well as the memorial there is an exhibition and gardens.
