Dignity Day to help those with Dementia

Three members of the Rugby readymix customer service centre took part in a Dignity Day at Manor House in Rugby – Manor House is part of the Pinnacle Group and is a local home for older people and people with Dementia.
On Thursday 1st Feb Susan Payne, Katy Leighton and Russell Miller spent the day with residents discovering what Dignity meant to them, talking with them and preparing for an Afternoon Tea.
This was a great experience for all – the members of the CSC all commented on how much it had affected them and how much of an eye-opening experience it had been.
This is the first of several Lend-a-Hand days planned with the Pinnacle Group that RMX and Concrete Products/Packed Cement are involved in.
