Educating the Specifiers of the Future….

Mike Higgins, UK Technical Manager, commented: “We are seeing an ever-increasing interest in low carbon solutions into the UK Specification team. Speaking with Universities allows us to educate the specifiers of tomorrow on CEMEX solutions, in particular, our Vertua® range of low carbon concretes.”
We attended the session for free, however, the University wanted to donate the money they would have spent on a speaker to a charity of CEMEX UK’s choice. We chose our partner arts charity, PAN intercultural arts.
PAN were delighted to receive the £200 and sent us a thank you email:
“In these times when so much news is negative, it was really uplifting to hear that someone at CEMEX has kindly donated their £200 conference fees to PAN. We will mention this at our staff meeting today to perk everyone up.”
