Once again this year CEMEX UK employees completed the May pedometer challenge in teams, all trying to beat the 10k steps per day ideal fitness target. During the four week period the participants clocked up a whopping 179 million steps or 89,500 miles total - that's equal to more than three times around the world's circumference. This was part of our Fit4Life campaign, raising awareness of people's health, diet and exercise.
