Supply Chain Health & Safety Contractor Award Winner

Continental Tyres and their network of service agents service all our commercial tyre needs for the CEMEX fleet of Aggregate and Cement trucks. This involves nearly 2,000 rolling tyres across our UK Operations.

Continental have looked after our contract for some time, and we have worked closely together to improve safety in tyre management when fitters work on our trucks and also how our fleet performs on the highway – in reducing tyre failures and roadside breakdowns and getting the maximum MPG out of our trucks.

This has work has culminated in sustainable high audit scores and compliance scores with a consistent incident free safety performance record.
