The Art of CarbonNeutral

Earlier this year, we welcomed BBC Energy and Environment Analyst, Roger Harrabin, to our Gorton Readymix plant in Manchester. He wanted to find out more about Vertua®, our low carbon concrete range, for a documentary exploring new ways to reduce CO2 during the manufacturing process of the world’s most used materials.
As part of our support for this programme we also provided Artist, Simon Bingle, with Vertua Ultra Zero, a CarbonNeutral concrete product, which was used to create Concrete Truths, a sculpture which now appears in an exhibition at the Eden Project.
We are proud to have been part of this project and demonstrated the future of sustainable construction.
