UK Construction week cross-team effort

Last week a cross-business Cemex team of technical managers, specification managers, marketing, communications and digital came together to host the Infrastructure Hub and the BIM stand at UK Construction Week at London’s Excel.
Opening the three days of technical presentations from both Cemex and guest companies, Richard Kershaw, Technical Manager launched the Vertua range of lower carbon concretes, positioning Cemex as a supplier of sustainable products and solutions. The Vertua brand’s 5 attributes help us provide solutions that align with the prevalent needs of the market in terms of sustainability and circularity.
During his presentation on the Infrastructure Hub, Mike Higgins, Technical Manager, launched our new BIM revit plug-in. During the event, the team on the BIM stand engaged with many excellent new contacts who were very positive about the BIM tool, particularly the availability of Vertua products for specifying lower carbon concretes.
