Coverage guide

One 25kg bag of Rugby® Kiln Dried Sand will cover approximately 5m2 of standard block paving.

Storage Conditions

This product must be stored in unopened bags clear of the ground in dry conditions

Health and safety

Avoid inhlation of any dust produced when working with Rugby® Kiln Dried Sand.

Due to its dry nature it is recommended that if ever used indoors, a facemask should be worn to avoid inhaling any dust particles.

Dry Sand can be abrasive on sensitive skins so it is recommended gloves be worn when handling the material.

Usage Guide

1. Do not use in wet or damp conditions
2. Once the Block Paving has been laid use directly from the bag and brush into block paving with a wide soft brush.
3. Ideally, make two or three passes with a mechanical plate vibrator.
4. The Sand should be constantly brushed under the leading edge of the vibrator so that it is placed down between the blocks.
