Fantastic Fundraising Achievements by Matt and Reb

We are really proud of our colleagues Matt Sumner and Reb Corbett who both successfully completed fund raising events this Bank Holiday weekend.

Matt ran the Great Birmingham Half Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.  Matt was delighted to finish in just over 2 hours – a fantastic achievement! Matt said “I am very proud of what I have been able to achieve for such an amazing charity. Everyone has been extremely supportive and I could not have done it without all the help and motivation I received along the way”. Matt’s colleagues at Rugby Cement Plant supported Matt with a cake sale, raising a fantastic £250 towards his fund. His total currently stands at an amazing £1,825.

Reb Corbett completed her 140 miles coast to coast bike ride on Sunday, raising money for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. On completing the ride Reb said “I am happy to announce that I successfully completed my Coast to Coast challenge on 1st May. The route took me over 140 miles with a total ascent of around 3,000m. Over £1,600 raised so far and counting. I want to thank everyone for the support and donations”.
