Reliability Technician

Main Duties:

  • To assist the Conformance & Reliability Supervisor in providing a detailed programme of all predictive and preventive maintenance techniques 
  • Comprehensive predictive maintenance strategy for the plant 
  • Utilise the information generated through the RCA and FMEA processes to identify areas of improvement.  Generate solutions to these problems and implement them within the scope of the R&M budget.
  • Support and enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance 
  • Contribute as a member of the reliability maintenance team and aid in formulating the plants maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and maintain short and long term predictive and preventative maintenance plans 
  • Support the development and execute the chosen Maintenance strategy in Rugby Plant, Southam and Kensworth Quaries.
  • Undertake / assist in repairs which have been highlighted using reliability techniques (Vibration / Oil analysis etc) 
  • Produce timely reports and analysis for the maintenance management team to assist decision making.
     

Skills Required:

  • Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • 2 years experience Mechanical/Electrical fitter in a cement plant with kiln or rolling ball mills experience.
  • Proven experience in Health and Safety with an accredited certificate (such as IOSH)
  • Understanding of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of predictive / preventative maintenance techniques.
