Cemex remembers Merchant Seafarers

On Sunday, UK Marine’s Captain Matt Bland, was honoured to lay a wreath on behalf of Cemex at the Tower Hill Memorial, as part of a Service of Remembrance organised by The Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
The Tower Hill Memorial commemorates men and women of the Merchant Navy and Fishing Fleets who died in both World Wars and who have no known grave. It stands on the south side of the garden of Trinity Square, London, close to The Tower of London.
With Matt in the photograph is Sarah Treseder, CEO of UK Chamber of Shipping, the trade association and voice of the UK shipping industry, representing around 200 member companies, of which Cemex is one.
