Creating Accessibility Pathways - Forest of Hearts

Members of our Midlands Readymix teams came together with Forest of Hearts to supply and build concrete pathways in the gardens at Stratford Upon-Avon Hospital.

The paths will provide a more accessible route for wheelchair users and people with disabilities, as well as for staff, patients and visitors to use the hospital garden, to relax and take in the surrounding nature.

Enhancing Park Grounds – Coventry Historic Trust

To commemorate International Volunteer Day, our employees visited the Historic Coventry Trust’s Charterhouse to build new picnic benches and place them across the park grounds. Through this, visitors to the trust have new places to sit down and embrace the park scenery.

Our team also supported various gardening activities, including planting new flowers, further contributing to the overall visitor experience.

Halkyn Mountain Clean Up

Employees from our Halkyn Quarry in North Wales joined members of the local community for a clean-up activity on Halkyn Mountain.

Using equipment provided by Keep Wales Tidy, the group was able to collect vast amounts of litter, helping to preserve the mountain’s natural beauty. The collected litter was then removed by Street Scene.
