Main Duties:

• To support a detailed maintenance program within the maintenance planning team. Providing technical support for daily maintenance planning activities along with major Kiln and Cement Mill outage planning. Working to improve plant reliability and continually improving Maintenance Systems.
• Provide detailed in-depth assessment of Mechanical and Electrical tasks. Working with the Engineering team across multi disciplines to assess, plan, procure and pre kit all maintenance activities.
• Support and enforce all CEMEX Maintenance strategies and policies, to optimize task execution and improve reliability at Rugby plant, Kensworth and Southam Quarry. 
• Support and enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance to achieve zero accidents and incidents based on UK legislation and CEMEX policies to ensure continued license to operate and prevent injuries.
   

Skills Required:

• Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, preferably Bachelor (degree)
• Mechanical / Electrical Technician within the cement industry
• Supervising shutdowns including control of permits under CDM
• Previous maintenance planning experience
• Supervising daily maintenance activities.
• Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations (NEBOSH Certificate) with some knowledge of UK environmental regulations and policies
• Good IT (including SAP, CAD, Microsoft Project) and data management skills
• Good organizational skills, managing workload/priorities
