Well done to the team from Freemans and Avonmouth Wharf who spent their Lend-A-Hand day completing a sensory garden for Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary.
With materials from the Quarry and Wharf the garden includes a rockery, herb garden, sand pit and slabbed patio areas. This has provided the animals with an area where they can explore.
The sanctuary in Barrow Gurney opened its gates to unwanted, abandoned and often mistreated animals in March 1992.
Since that time the charity has saved thousands of animals – see more at http://www.hollyhedge.org.uk
