UK Operations Reaches Two Years Employee LTI Free

Congratulations to everyone in the UK team on reaching this milestone, in addition to achieving four years fatality free in October. To put this into context, back in 2005 we recorded 113 employee LTIs. It is clear how far we have come in our health and safety journey, and it is the ongoing efforts and commitment from employees that delivered this great achievement. Together, you have prevented serious injury and the resulting distress these incidents cause for families.

In a message from Sergio Menendez, EMEA Regional President, he wrote: “I would like to recognise and congratulate you all for achieving two years employee LTI free in the whole of UK Operations.  This is a significant milestone, especially taking into account the size and complexity of your operations.  Each one of you should feel proud of this and I know this would not have been possible without the personal dedication, commitment and passion of you all towards keeping everyone safe and healthy.”

However, we must not become complacent, but continue to put our safety and wellbeing first. A further focus must be to reinforce our contractor safety management, so we minimise the risk of injury to everyone, and ensure we are truly looking after ourselves and each other.
