Building something better
Although we’ve been working with charities and communities for years, we’re getting serious about our social responsibilities. We believe it’s our job to look out for and strengthen the world in which we operate. That goes for our local communities, and the wider society and environment.
CEMEX Foundation
The CEMEX Foundation is designed to help mitigate the impact of our business on people, communities and the environment, as well as to make a lasting positive effect. Our mission is not defined by a remit although we tend to concentrate on local support in a three mile radius of a CEMEX site in order to maximise benefit for local communities.
Lend a Hand
We want to give something back, whether it’s our time, our cash, or something a bit different. We are invested in our employees living and breathing our mission too. Our Lend a Hand scheme allows our employees to volunteer time, skills and materials to those who need it.
