VIAMAIN Reinstatement Asphalt

VIAMAIN® has been specially designed with the utility contractor in mind, providing improved air void compliance. VIAMAIN® can significantly reduce the number of defects associated with trench reinstatements through providing enhanced workability and compaction properties.

Defects associated with trench reinstatements are one of the major challenges faced by utility contractors. The difficult nature of such reinstatement works means that full compaction of standard asphalt mixes is often difficult to achieve which can lead to high air void content and premature failure of the material. VIAMAIN® has been specially designed with the utility contractor in mind, providing improved air void compliance. Mixes are available as a 20mm binder course and a 10mm & 6mm surface course all of which fully conform to BS EN 13108-1. All mixes are fully compliant with the requirements of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Opening for Highways, and are available for delivery or collect from all CEMEX asphalt production units.
